Court Street was briefly shut down this evening when two cars collided, sending one driver to the NorwoodHospital and the other to Beth Israel.Airbags were deployed, though both were alert and conscious.
It appeared as if a Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling the wrong way down Richards Street and ran into a Subaru Outback traveling south on Court.The pickup came to a stop in the front yard of 164 Court Street after taking out a row of hedges and missing a fire hydrant by inches.The Outback went several feet off the road and ended up on the sidewalk in front of the house.
A passenger in the pickup was not harmed.More details were not immediately available.
