Parents and friends partied Friday night to give High School seniors a safe place to party on graduation night. The Dedham High School All Night Party Committee held their annual trivia night as the year’s major fundraiser.
The party, which provides graduates with an alcohol free environment to celebrate with their classmates, is held each year on graduation night in the high school gym.The music, hypnotist, Wii competition, video, and other attractions cost between $6,000 and $7,000 each year, organizers say.
DJ Bob Stanley was Master of Trivia at both this party at the VFW Hall and the Oakdale School PTO’s trivia night down the street at the American Legion.Organizers thanks Kevin Coughlin, Joe Heisler, and Margaret Matthews, all candidates for School Committee, as well as Chuck DelloIacono, Kevin Flaherty, and Mary Sugrue, all candidates for Parks and Recreation Commission, for sponsoring the event.
Those wishing to make a donation to the party can send a check made out to the Dedham High School All Night Party Committee to 137 Chickering Road, Dedham.
